A caretaker at "Spade's Manufactory" goes about his business. A long time loner and sad character, he buries himself in his work by day. By night he pays respect to the memory of his wife by building a boat in her honour. He collects the discarded company logo's he finds around the building and keeps them in a jar. When he finds them coloured, his mind begins to wander.
